Compliant · Legal — for solo & small-firm attorneys

Argue once. Publish everywhere. Bar-rules screened.

Upload a recording — or just write a brief. Compliant Legal reads your firm's website and documents, learns your practice, and returns a full week of content in your voice — LinkedIn posts, an X thread, your newsletter, show notes, and captioned clips — every asset redlined against attorney-advertising rules before it reaches your ethics review.

14 assets per recording · rule packs: ABA Model Rules (US) · ASCR/Uniform Law (AU) · SRA/CAP (E&W)

The ethics redline

The reason this isn't just another clip tool.

Generic AI tools will happily write “guaranteed settlement” and “the best trial lawyer in Texas” into your posts — the exact language Model Rule 7.1 prohibits. Compliant Legal redlines outcome guarantees, win rates, specialist claims, unverifiable superlatives, client-identifying details, and pressure tactics, then appends the disclaimers your state expects. Watch it mark up a draft:

ETHICS REDLINE — DRAFT REVIEWRULESET: ABA MODEL RULES 7.1–7.3, 1.6
Draft — LinkedIn post As Houston's best injury lawyer, I guarantee you'll win your case. We have a 98% success rate and recovered $4.2 million for my client Maria last spring. No fee unless we wincall now before it's too late.
Findings & required edits
STRIKE“best injury lawyer” — unverifiable comparison, Rule 7.1 cmt. 3.
Fix: verifiable facts — years, admissions, trial record.
STRIKE“guarantee you'll win” — outcome guarantee, Rule 7.1.
Fix: describe process and experience, never outcomes.
STRIKE“98% success rate” — misleading without context, creates unjustified expectations.
Fix: remove the statistic entirely.
FLAG“recovered $4.2 million” — past result needs prior-results disclaimer.
Fix: append “Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.”
FLAG“my client Maria” — client identification, Rule 1.6 confidentiality.
Fix: anonymize, or obtain written informed consent.
FLAG“No fee unless we win” — omits costs/expenses the client may owe.
Fix: add the contingency-costs disclosure.
FLAG“call now before it's too late” — coercive urgency, Rule 7.3 concerns.
Fix: state limitation periods factually, no pressure.

Injury-law clicks run $70–250 each, and a signed case costs $2,500+ to buy. Compliant Legal costs less per month than a handful of clicks — and builds the owned audience that makes those ads cheaper. Try the whole engine free, no card.

THE MATH · If one case is worth $2,500+ just to *acquire* through ads, the fee on that case is worth many multiples more. If consistent publishing brings your firm one additional signed matter a year, Compliant Legal pays for itself several times over — the same ROI argument you'd make to a jury.

Questions lawyers ask

Read the fine print. We wrote it big.

Does this replace my ethics review?

No — and it never claims to. Compliant Legal is a pre-screen: it catches outcome guarantees, win-rate claims, specialist language, results without disclaimers, client-identifying details, and pressure tactics before content reaches you or your firm's reviewing attorney. You review clean drafts instead of raw AI output. Every export is labeled as requiring attorney ethics review.

I practise in Australia or the UK — does this work for me?

Yes. Compliant Legal ships three rule packs: the ABA Model Rules screen for US attorneys, an Australian pack built on ASCR r36, the Legal Profession Uniform Law and the ACL (including the Accredited Specialist restriction, the ban on damages-percentage fees, and QLD/NSW personal-injury advertising limits), and an England & Wales pack built on the SRA Codes of Conduct and the CAP Code (including CFA cost-transparency wording and the ban on implying SRA endorsement). Pick your jurisdiction once in your profile — generation, screening, and the auto-appended disclaimers all follow it, down to the spelling.

My state has its own advertising rules. Does Compliant Legal know them?

The screen is built on the ABA Model Rules (7.1–7.3 and 1.6) plus widely-adopted state requirements like New York's "Attorney Advertising" label and prior-results disclaimer. Some states — Texas and Florida notably — also require filing or pre-review of certain ads; Compliant Legal flags that, but filing is on you. State variations are exactly why every pack routes through your review before publication.

What about client confidentiality?

Rule 1.6 is in the screen: content that names clients or includes identifying case details gets flagged for anonymization or written informed consent. The generation engine is also instructed never to surface client-identifying details from your recording into the drafts.

Will it sound like me, or like AI?

You paste two or three of your past posts into your voice profile. Compliant Legal matches your phrasing and energy from those samples plus the transcript itself — the words are yours to begin with; it's your recording. And it translates legalese into plain English, because prospects don't hire the lawyer they can't understand.

What do I need to record — and do I even need a recording?

Whatever you already produce: a podcast episode, a CLE presentation, a webinar, a YouTube explainer — even a voice memo answering the five questions every client asks first. And if you have nothing recorded, write a one-paragraph brief; Compliant Legal drafts the pack from your firm knowledge and runs the same redline. Clips require a video source.

What exactly is in the free plan?

The real engine, not a demo: 2 recordings a month through the full pipeline — transcription, your voice profile, every text asset, and the complete ethics redline with disclaimers. Written briefs work too. Pro adds unlimited recordings, rendered captioned clips, and priority processing. No card required to start.
